I can’t wait for the day when everyone looks back and realizes how wrong they were about the excellence on display in this film. I was a strong advocate for the film after loving it on my first watch, but I was even more mesmerized by it on my second watch.

In a movie with so much to take in, each rewatch will unpack something new for decades to come. For me, this time was simply about all of the little moments that you notice once you already know where the film is headed. And boy, those final 20 minutes had me just as emotional as the first watch. I can’t believe that we are alive at the same time as Damien Chazelle. What a blessing!
