Was unfamiliar with liza Shlesinger before this, but boy was I instantly won over. She’s got such a presence on screen that it makes an otherwise extremely conventional film work more than it should.
Sure, it’s cheesy & pretty undercooked in stretches, but it gives Buc-ees the on-screen representation it deserves, which has to count for something!
