I’m late to the party on this, but I’m honestly not sure that I’ve ever been so angry inside of a theater. This mess of a film took an absolute blowtorch to the beauty of the animated film.
All the great arcs are gone, the whole heart of the story is gone, the whole message is gone, the best characters are changed, it looks atrocious, it feels rushed yet is 23 minutes longer, and they even had the audacity to take out the ugly duckling part?!?
And for what? So we can watch Stitch wreaking havoc while Uptown Funk is playing in the background? Or watch him drive around in a pink car?
Shame on everyone involved.
