Summer movies are back!!!! The Fall Guy is so much fun it hurts. Silly laughs, fire needle drops, over the top action sequences, romantic chemistry, and even references to some of the great films from cinema history.
It always knows exactly what it is, doesn’t even ponder taking itself seriously (in the best way possible), and stays in its lane for 2 hours. Some really fun sequences.
It's the kind of movie that in the moment won’t be seen as one of the best of the year, but through time will easily be one of the most rewatched movies from 2024.
Please see this in theaters so that we get these kinds of movies again instead of super hero movies to kick off the summer. Give me this every single time.
P.S. I’m not shallow enough to love this solely for the Taylor Swift and Phil Collins needle drop. However, those certainly didn’t hurt the films chances of me falling in love with it!
