The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

No one paces films quite like Fincher. There are 90 minute films that feel longer than this did. My favorite thing though is compared to Fincher’s other mystery feeling films, this one feels so much less about how it gets resolved and so much more about the people involved. Most every person has scars of some sort from human cruelty, some are deeper than others and some are more traumatic, but they are all worth exploring as they help unlock individuals and how they operate in the world.
