This getting made into a movie is by far one of the most fascinating & hilarious stories of the year. And it gets even funnier when you realize who is cast in the movie!
Seriously, if you don’t know what it’s originally based on, look it up if you want a good laugh.
As for the film, to some this will be considered slop but to me this is cinema. Gives you everything you want in a romcom. So charming it made me giggle. Once the inciting incident takes place, I was hooked and didn’t want it to end. Legitimately was yelling at my TV as it went along.
Lili Reinhart immediately goes into the Rom-Com cannon & Claire Scanlon is one of the few directors that knows how to make a modern rom-com.
