Seeing this in IMAX was one of the most unnerving theater experiences I’ve ever had.
In the hands of a less capable filmmaker, I’m not sure this would even work, but Eggers is so good at building an atmosphere that I was genuinely shaking by the end.
Bring on Nosferatu!
