Where the Crawdads Sing confirms that Daisy Edgar Jones is a star in the making. She takes a weak script and film with countless flaws and turns it into a bearable and at times enjoyable film. If you truly care about the story read the book instead, but if you want to see a dazzling performance by Daisy, watch the film.
