The Red Shoes

I love watching an old movie and not only instantly fall in love with it, but immediately understanding its place in the history of film. If you can think of 5+ great movies an old film influenced before the credits roll, it’s probably a pretty good indicator that it’s a masterpiece (or at least important).

Not an original thought, but the titular sequence is easily one of the greatest 15 minutes ever put on film. How the heck was this made almost 80 years ago?!?
